After the workshop, Amanda invited her attendees to a uber private group on facebook where we can all chat and meet other attendees. Naturally with a new set of faces popping up threads started to tag businesses and tell our locations. I was SO excited when I saw there was someone else from the Fredericksburg area. I knew we had to be friends!
They posted something about swapping headshots and I jumped right on that opportunity. Now I don't mean to sound like I was desperate for friends or anything but one of my goals with moving here to VA was to become more connected with the photography community and meet [more] people in the industry, ya know NETWORK!! This was my first real opportunity to do that!
We met at a local coffee shop and hit it off right away. Mostly because we all realized our fondness for coffee was mutual =) We roamed the streets of Fburg and they even showed me a cute little dock by the river that I never knew existed and am kinda in love with now!
So Ben and Sophia...Well they are high school sweethearts, native to this wonderful area of Virginia. They are insanely in tune with each other and the love they have for each other could be felt for miles I swear. They are adorable in every way and I don't think we stopped laughing the entire time we were shooting! So i mentioned these guys have been together since high school....SEVEN YEARS together and married last June. These guys are awesome! My husband and I have been together about the same but I honestly have to say there is something way different about HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS! They started dating as babies before entering the world as adults, and their LOVE endured through all of that...insane and a testament to true love indeed! Anywho, Ben loves movies, Sophia loves pumpkins and anything fall, and well enough chit chat here are the beautiful images I got of these two love birds!!
