We were so excited to move to NC. We decided to live on base, give husband an easy drive to work and have a nice community for raising EB in. We were given a total of three addresses on base before we finally moved in to the third address given to us after having our move-in date moved three times. It was quite stressful but at the same time we were beyond thankful that we were even HAVING that option moving onto base when we know so many who have had a disaster of a time moving into base housing other places. It worked out in the end and after stalking the other two possible houses we could have been in, we agree this was the best of them all!! We quickly met our neighbors and well, everyone is just wonderful! That's where this family comes in.
Meet the McAndrews Family. They are definitely a fun bunch to be around. We met them our first day here, while unloading our moving truck and it didn't take long for Jess and I to figure out that we were both photographers. After talking a bit more we both realized that we were pretty much switching places! They just recently headed out of Lejeune on their journey to their new home and duty station at Quantico. Yup! Like I said we flip flopped! So naturally we started sharing locations, tips and hints to survive the new areas.
We also thought what a great idea it would be to trade off taking pictures of each others family to use to promote the other on our business pages! We are at the same level, similar clean editing styles, similar price range and shoot & share photographers. So, why not?!
So to all my wonderful clients and friends who are still in the Northern Virginia area check out the wonderful Jessica McAndrews Photography. The only difference is that she rocks some studio lighting and takes amazing studio newborn photos!! So if you are expecting a little one this fall for sure check her out!!
It was a fun month getting to know this family and us Cillo's wish them luck on their new adventure in NOVA!
